I found this typing test on Joseph and Amanda's blog. Amanda can type 101 wpm. That is way faster than me. However, she should try this one and see how she does.

I got 18,248 kph without any mistakes. I might be a nerd after all.

I'm too scared to take tests that might tell me I'm inferior; so I haven't done either one. But when I was ward clerk, I always entered in the receipts because I was the fastest--in part because I knew how to use hotkeys (like tab) instead of using the mouse to select each entry field, but also because I was reasonably fast and accurate (maybe because of Nethack?). Brother Pinkham, standing over my shoulder once, commented with some wistfulness, "Ah... in my day they didn't have ten-key courses". Ten-key courses?
I'm not afraid to be inferior. I took your ten-key test and got like 500 kph. The words of advice at the end were very comforting though. "Try not to sacrifice accuracy for speed. Slow down a little to increase your accuracy. Steer clear of the accounting field." I hereby dub thee queen of the ten-key.
