A Christmas 'Package' from Tyler

Every once in a while we poke through Tyler's back pack to see if there's a permission slip or something in there that we should know about. Lately, Tyler's been really interested in collections. He has a bakugan collection, a shell collection, and others. I really hope that helps to explain the following picture.

First of all, this is the classic icon of what a drumstick looks like.
Looks delicious, right? We frankly never considered what a drumstick collection might look like, nor did we ever imagine such a collection would appear so...anatomical.
Tyler's in bed right now, but I expect we might have a conversation with our oldest about art and how his latest piece might be interpreted.
Still, art is supposed to evoke emotion--mission accomplished!

I want to know if his teacher saw it...and if she did...why in the world did he just bring it home in his back pack?

Two days ago Derek asked me what an F-bomb was. Needless to say, I was suprised and asked him why he wanted to know. Well...they kids made paper airplanes. They were called the Ty Plane (for Tyler) and the D Plane (for Derek). The planes were flying around the house dropping Ty-bombs and D-bombs. Then they made A-bombs and B-bombs. I guess while I was out of the room, Derek's plane started dropping F-bombs...

Oh my! Thanks for the morning chuckle. I am just astounded at the drumstick collection....I truly hope his teacher did see it...They need some kicks and giggles too...don't you think? ;)That is definitely one for the scrapbook.
And the F-bombs, just too much:)

I have to wonder if his 'drumstick' collection was inspired by some local bathroom graffiti. The imagery is so...much...that it's hard to belief there wasn't some sublimation going on. Funniest thing I've seen in days. Thanks for sharing.

WHAT???? You're not going to make wallpaper out of it for his room? OH!
I guess he's just following in his Dad's footsteps.... "Chucky, Chucky bo...."

Dad didn't get "it" until Mom told him. He was disappointed that it was a concern.

Wow. You guys have dirty thoughts. It's just chicken. If someone told me my chicken looked like that I'd have a hard time drawing without remembering that.

I guess the James family hasn't used the bathroom at a middle school recently...for Jared and I, chicken legs were the second thing we thought of. It's not dirty, it's just exposure...
