This year our forth of July was much more fun than last year. This year we had Dad! Yay! But we did pretty much the same stuff. First we had a picnic in the living room because it's too hot outside and we didn't want Jared to die from ant bites - really, he's super allergic and even got an epipen in case he gets bitten again. Second we made a fourth of July cake. Lastly we went over by SeaWorld to watch fireworks. They were pretty good, better than the ones done by the city last year. They were still kinda far away and the only good place to sit was on the dead weeds next to the highway, but it was fine because it reminded us of sitting at my parents' house, above the highway, watching fireworks that are a little bit too far away. We really miss being able to do the driveway of fire. It would be super fun here too because we have so many neighbors that it would be a $1 fountain extravaganza all up and down the street. Oh well. We're a little jealous of Kay and Jason too with all of their fancy fireworks over the Lincoln Memorial. But not too jealous because we got to go to get creamy slushies afterward and nothing beats a creamy slushie on a 95 degree night in Texas. We had fun.
